Yazmin Granlund
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Yazmin Granlund is an IATSE Local 798 makeup artist specializing in beauty, character design, prosthetics, and special makeup effects for film and television.
She built her foundation in one of the most demanding production environments in the world. With over 40 credits across features, TV movies, and series, she has traveled to Prague, Spain, and Saudi Arabia to deliver looks that range from polished beauty to full character transformations.
She has served as Makeup Department Head on productions including Twisted (paramount, 2026) and Murder at the Derby (Lifetime, 2025), and has delivered key special makeup effects on projects including The cello and the wraith. Her screen credits also include Dead Man's Wire, Carved, and Skeletons in the closet, among others.
Yazmin recently relocated to Kentucky to be part of its rapidly growing film industry. she is the co-owner of special makeup effects studio Ky creature fx.
